OM7

Digital orbital shaker - tray size 500 x 500mm, speed 40-400 RPM

The OM7 orbital mixer has a 500mm square platform supported by precision ball races and can handle loads up to 12 kg, it is suitable for use in many applications including medical diagnostics, sample preparation, product testing etc.


The digital speed control has a range of 30-400 RPM and is controlled from the easy to read front panel where a large LED display can show set and actual speed, when required the OM7 can run for extended periods unattended. Slow acceleration is incorporated in the drive system to help protect samples and reduce the risk of spillage. The timer can be set from 0-99 in either minutes or hours, in addition the OM7 has 3 memory buttons to allow repeat time/speed functions to be stored. A Nitrile mat is supplied fitted to the platform and is sufficient for holding containers at low speeds. For higher speeds optional racks are available.

The OM11 is a compact bench top orbital mixer within a temperature controlled cabinet. Separate clearly marked controls and displays for temperature, speed, and timer ensure the OM11 is easy to operate and monitor. The counterbalanced drive system incorporates slow acceleration to reduce the risk of spillage plus a safety system that operates if an overload or jamming occurs. The platform is covered with a nitrile mat that is sufficient for holding containers at low speeds. For higher speeds optional racks are available. The RR10 Universal rack is ideal when a variety of different sizes and types of container are used. Fan assisted heating coupled with the custom microprocessor control ensures accurate temperature control within the cabinet. The cabinet cover is hinged at the top to allow easy access to the platform, for ease of cleaning the cabinet complete with the hinged cover can be removed without the need for tools.

The OM15 is a heavy duty orbital mixer within a temperature controlled cabinet, and is designed to run for extended periods when required. Separate clearly marked controls and displays for temperature speed and timer ensure the OM15 is easy to use and monitor. Slow acceleration is incorporated in the drive system to reduce the risk of spillage, plus a safety system that cuts power to the drive if an overload or jamming occurs. Fan assisted heating coupled with the custom microprocessor control ensures accurate temperature control within the cabinet. The interior of the insulated cabinet is constructed from polished food grade stainless steel and the exterior from a corrosion resistant plastic. A Nitrile mat is supplied fitted to the platform and is sufficient for holding containers at low speeds. For higher speeds optional racks are available. The RR15 Universal rack is suitable for a variety of different sizes and types of container. Stainless steel Tulip clips are also available dedicated to conical flasks from 50ml to 2 litre.

For higher speeds optional racks are available. The RR25 Universal rack is suitable for a variety of different sizes and types of container. Stainless steel Tulip clips are also available dedicated to conical flasks from 50ml to 2 litre.


EOM5

EOM5 Ratek Medium Orbital Shaker, Analogue, 350x350mm tray, speed 20-200RPM

The EOM5 is the perfect everyday orbital shaker suitable for a wide range of mixing applications. The solid state speed control has a speed range of 20 - 200 RPM and is controlled from a simple to operate turn dial on the front of the shaker, whilst the Ratek silent belt drive system will deliver years of quiet reliable operation without service.


Slow acceleration is incorporated into the drive system to reduce the risk of spillage, as well as a motion interrupt safety cut-out. The supplied non slip mat is ideal for shaking speeds up to 100RPM, and a wide range of accessories is available for higher speed shaking or to retain more specialised containers. These include the AT5 adhesive mat tray, TCT5 tulip clip tray and the RR5 universal rack.


The EOM5 is a simple to operate yet offers precise repeatable speed control in a package that is built to last.

Ratek precision digital block heaters offer excellent temperature stability combined with a large active LED display for easy visibility from across the lab. Available in 3 sizes accommodating 1, 2 or 4 standard blocks, the DBHx000D range is the latest in Ratek’s long established history of quality Australian made block heaters.


All models feature precision digital PID control with bright dual line LED display which indicates set and current temperatures, combined with simple up and down temperature control buttons. Independent concealed heaters heat each block individually to achieve rapid heat-up times and excellent spacial uniformity.


A user-configurable process over-temp audible and visual alarm also provides the user with peace of mind. Perhaps the best new feature in the range is the capability to operate at up to 200° C as standard, allowing for a much wider range of digestion applications to be performed in addition to low temperature molecular and biological work.
